LAGOS – A clash between students and authority of the Lagos State University, LASU, has left two of its allegedly dead.
An eyewitness who pleaded anonymity disclosed that trouble started when some of the students protested against the school authority not allowing them to write the exams due to late registration which the students blamed on increased school fees.
According to the report military men as well as officers of Nigeria Police and the school security were brought in to calm the situation.
All attempts to get confirmation from the Lagos State Police Command proved abortive as its Public Relation Officer Ngozi Braide could not be reached as at the time of this report.
