The countdown to the 2nd edition of Democracy Heroes Award and Pageant show slated to hold in Abuja has begun.
Preparations for the epoch making event are already at an advanced stage as the organisers are not leaving any stone unturned to stage a world class show. The testimony of the previous event is still making rounds as it was not only considered the most prized pageant, but also an event of class which attracted the high and mighty in the corridors of power.
Recently, a press conference was held to buttress the objective of the project, which amongst every other things is to honour and celebrate the heroes of Nigerian Democracy with an award recognition and to select a young and vibrant lady who will be the face of Nigeria’s democracy to intercede for the government and the people as well as advocate for mass electoral participation by Nigerian youths, especially in the forthcoming general election.
Following the zonal auditions conducted nationwide from August to September in Calabar, Owerri, Portharcourt and Lagos, the Face of Democracy team headed by Alexandar Ajagbonna aka Fajag, have fixed the final grand audition for October 2014, in Abuja while the grand finale will hold in November 2014, also in Abuja.
