The need for artistes in Nigeria to improve on music lyrical content has again been brought to the front burner.

The call was made during the press pale and song listening of kilo one at pacetv.

Mr Austine Inyang of Pacetv who spoke on the entertainment industry emphasized that music will stand the test of time if the theme is centered around exploring key issues like love,loss in the society and not promoting Ego or as a weapon of dispute rather to agitate for better right of the people.

He further gave accolades to the industry for it’s innovations in various platforms to discover and showcase new and upcoming talents such innovations include Talent Hunt, Project Fame,Nigeria got talent amongst others.

Lawrence Nwaifo popularly known and addressed as Kilo One hails from Edo State, he is a graduate of Business Administration from University of Benin.

He has two tracks to his credit Buga and Ogbegbe.

Kilo One sings Dance Hall with high life flavour music.

He loves to touch people’s heart with his music and dislikes imitations. Nigeria has been called”the heart of African music”because of its role in the development of west African high-life and palm wine music,which fuses native rhythms with techniques for the development of several popular styles that are unique in Nigeria like apala,Fuji,high-life,and yo-pop. There are no doubt important mile-stone in the entertainment industry is coming of age.
