A 34-year-old graduate of Business Administration from Kaduna Polytechnic, Moshood Mohammed, a father of a two-month-old baby, who was declared missing, was yesterday found dead at NASFAT Village in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
Mohammed was reported missing last Thursday and efforts to trace his whereabouts were unsuccessful until his corpse was found yesterday.
According to the deceased’s brother, Kamal Yinka, the deceased left his home in Kaduna on Thursday morning to join up with a friend who was going to take him to Ilorin, the deceased’s country home, for a wedding ceremony scheduled to hold at the weekend.
“We were surprised to see his friend after two hours who came to report that he had waited for Mohammed at Mando Roundabout, but he did not see him. We thought it was a joke from the beginning. We tried calling his phone it was not going. Then we reported to the police and we also went looking for him, only this morning (Sunday) to find his dead body around NASFAT village.
“His death is a big blow to our entire family, because Moshood is a young man with a promising future. He just got married recently, with a two-month- old baby. He just got employed and his aged mother and immediate family were dependent on him,” he said.
