Transactions on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) ended on a negative note on Tuesday with the market capitalisation depreciating by N145 billion.
It was reported that the market capitalisation closed lower at N12.680 trillion from the N12.825 trillion recorded on Monday.
Also, the All-Share Index, which opened at 38,721.15, went down by 435 points to close at 38,286.56.
Mobil led the gainers’ chart with a gain of N9.48 to close at N170.98 per share.
7UP followed, appreciating by N8.97 to close at N188.52, while CAP rose by N1.5 to close at N42.5 per share.
OANDO Oil rose by 38 kobo to close at N23.9, while ETI was up by 1k to close at N18.6 per share.
On the other hand, NB led the losers’ chart with a loss of N4.91 to close at N162.09 per share.
GUINNESS lost N4.64 to close at N171.86, while Wapco dipped N2.4 to close at N112.6 per share.
UHOMREIT depreciated by N2.37 to close at N45.22, while FO declined by N1.7 to closed at N217 per share.
In all, investors exchanged 398.894 million shares worth N2,803 billion in 4,579 deals.
This was against the 241.691 million shares valued at N3,87 billion traded in 4,434 deals on Monday.
