Suarez starts against Madrid

The striker will make his Barcelona debut in El Clasico after Luis Enrique deemed him ready to make his return from a four-month ban

Luis Suarez will make his return from a four-month ban in Barcelona’s Clasico clash with Real Madrid after Luis Enrique named him in his starting XI for Saturday’s game.

The striker’s suspension for biting Italy’s Giorgio Chiellini while playing for Uruguay at the World Cup has now ended, with Enrique handing him an immediate debut for the trip to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Suarez came through two recent friendlies for his national side as well as several behind closed door games for Barca and will form a dangerous front three alongside Lionel Messi and Neymar.

Madrid, meanwhile, have made two changes from their 3-0 win over Liverpool in the Champions League on Wednesday, with Dani Carvajal replacing Alvaro Arbeloa at right-back and Sergio Ramos taking the place of Raphael Varane at centre-back.
